Mark Hipp

                             Mr. Hipp is President and cofounder of DataBase Technologies.  His personal areas of expertise are in database architecture, mathematical modeling and strategic marketing.  He has a personal fondness for new product development.

Previous to DBT, Mr. Hipp spent nine years at Trinet, a marketing services company.  His most recent assignment at Trinet was Director Database Development.  He was responsible for the creation and maintenance of the company's primary asset; a demographic database of all businesses in the United States.  He was responsible for the product architecture, maintenance systems and instituted a TQMP (Total Quality Management Process) for his departments.

As Consulting Services Manager, Mr. Hipp spent five years managing and participating in scores of consulting projects for major corporations.  The projects varied from long term corporate wide strategic marketing planing to tactical productivity projects.  Previous to Trinet, Mr. Hipp was a Staff Manager in the Market Research and Forecasting Division of AT&T Long Lines.  He managed a group responsible for business planning, corporate facilities forecasting and regulatory support for new, high capacity digital services.

Mr. Hipp holds M.Phil., M. S. and B. S. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University where he won various academic prizes, fellowships and election to honor societies.  In addition, Mr. Hipp holds a B. A. degree in mathematics from Grinnell College.
